Who is your cancer hero?

KCCI TV 8 has partnered with the John Stoddard Cancer Center to share the stories of cancer survivors and their heroes.

The fight against cancer is often a difficult one.  Many times there are people in our lives that step up to help us get through this disease. This is your opportunity to share the story of who your support hero has been throughout your fight against cancer.

Was your support hero a spouse, a friend, a sister or brother, a special nurse or doctor?

Tell us who your support hero has been and what they have done to help you fight this disease. Feel free to load a photo of your hero to go along with your story.

Do you know someone going through cancer and would like to share a story and/or photo about how they have inspired you?

These stories will not be shared on-air – this is just an opportunity for you to share the story of your hero.

Submit your stories to:  desnews@kcci.com
