URBANDALE, Iowa -- Pitney Bowes officials announced Wednesday that they're opening a mail sorting site in Urbandale.

The 78,000 square foot facility will be located at 4350 121st Street and will presort up to 3 million pieces of first-class letters when it opens in October.

The center will initially create 70 new jobs.

Officials said they expect the amount of mail being sent through the facility to increase and with it more jobs will be added.
