Sebelius Calls VP Talk 'Out Of Body Experience'
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius said being mentioned as a potential running mate to Barack Obama is something of "an out-of-body experience."
But Sebelius would said little Thursday about the possibility that the expected presidential nominee would ask her to join the Democratic ticket.
Sebelius was in Des Moines to speak with women activists about pay equity and Obama's economic plans. It was the first of her four events planned through the day in the Des Moines area.
The Kansas governor told activists that she thought supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton would eventually back Obama.
Asked by reporters about the chance of joining the ticket, Sebelius referred them to the Obama campaign.
She called herself an enthusiastic supporter of Obama, saying "I am going to do everything I can to make sure he is elected Nov. 4."
